World Geography 08/16/2019

Goal: Students will be able to locate important places on a world map and on an European map. Students will be able to identify causes and outcomes of current events around their world and how they relate to world history.

4. Geography human matching game (matching countries and capitals)
5. Sign into Turnitin.com and join the class
6. Introduction to the Current Event Assignments format

Homework: Complete current event assignment (instructions found in the website tab for current events), and complete the world map assignment



Test on World/European geography: Friday of next week (Quizlets are available in the class website as well as attached below) - you will need to know countries, capitals, and bodies of water.
Though the quizlets help, you are only responsible for what's on the map activities you received in class.
